brandhouse™ Pitch & Polish is a lateral-thinking competition that exposes would-be entrepreneurs to enterprise development training and thinking. The competition aims to find the business star of the future and helps them to unleash the power of their vision and ingenuity.
By definition, entrepreneurs are people who are enterprising, willing to try new challenges and achieve their goals. The dynamics of starting up a business, regardless of its size, require organisation of thoughts, actions and a working plan. In order to succeed in business, entrepreneurs need qualities such as tenacity, patience, passion, determination and people skills, to mention just a few.
In order to increase the success rate of entrepreneurship in South Africa, as well as to positively affect the economy and alleviate poverty, much more support is required for entrepreneurs.
